Tellum

justImagine lagi ngerencanain komik baru, dijudulinnya Tellum (diambil dari Latin 'tellus' artinya Bumi).
Ceritanya 2011 nanti ada game virtual reality yang laku banget, namanya Tellum. Katanya itu game biasa aja, tapi orang2 yang maen pada ketagihan. Sampai2 ini game masuk nominasi Addictive Game of the Year.
Nah, ada orang -- yang bukan maniak game -- jadi penasaran. Akhirnya dia beli satu paket Tellum dan mulai main.
Begitu masuk, dia langsung milih armor ama senjatanya.  Terus ketemu temen, player cewe, sama Moderator. Si moderator ini ngejelasin macem2 ttg gamenya.
Terus begitu udah jelas, baru deh si karakter utama sama si temennya ini mulai main. Ya berantem, berburu (game ini dibikin kaya dunia nyata dimana karakter juga harus makan dan minum), ke bar, nyari2 kode rahasia game, dan macem2.
Tapi tar ujung2nya ketahuan, ini game itu senjata rahasia dari developernya untuk tujuan pribadi -- yang tujuannya balas dendam....

Akhirnya Kembali

Udah lama Kidz! nggak posting. Sekarang Kidz! balik dan kita punya beberapa hal yang mungkin kalian mau coba:

1) Archaeozoic Area, game baru justImagine, alamatnya di http://archaeozoic-area.6te.net. Gamenya hampir kaya DunDin, cuma bedanya, di ArchArea (ini nama pendeknya) kita bisa pelihara satu dari tiga jenis Dinosaurus (Tyrannosaurus, Raptor, ato Triceratops). Nanti Mereka bisa diadu sama Dino lain! terus kalo mereka kekurangan kesehatan, bisa disembuhin...tapi pake bayar! Singkat kata, ArchArea termasuk RPG.

2) Dracoterra (Demo), alamatnya http://dracoterrademo.freetzi.com. Kaya ArchArea, cuma piaraannya naga dan beda latar waktu+tempatnya.

3) NEFO (masih dalam tahap dibikin), cek aja http://nefo-online.ueuo.com untuk liat salahsatu posternya.

Dua Game baru justImagine merujuk ke masa Prasejarah!

Awal tahun ini, justImagine ngerencanain bakal ngerilis dua game baru. Sebenernya yang game cuma satu, yaitu Dunia Dinosaurus alias Archaeon Area. Yang satu lagi sebenernya mainan, yaitu Palaeosaurian Pawns, alias Pion Paleosaura. Kalo DunDin (Dunia Dinosaurus) bisa dimainin di http://dundin-thegame.blogspot.com/ secara online. Maksud online disini adalah onsite, yaitu cuma bisa dimainin di website itu aja, nggak di download. Jadi, cuman bisa satu pemain. Tapi kalo mau chatting, ada kok chatbox-nya! Jadi bisa chatting antar pemain yang lagi buka game DunDin. Sayangnya, untuk sementara DunDin masih di tahap konstruksi, alias lagi dibikin. Ntar kalo udah jadi ada beritanya disini, kok.

Beda lagi kasusnya sama PalPan (Palaeosaurian Pawns). PalPan ini mainan kartu dan pion berbentuk segi lima panah, mirip pion dalam catur shogi di Jepang. Di permainan ini, tiap pemain mesti punya paling enggak tiga pion dari tiga FC (Food Classification) yaitu Carnivore, Herbivore, dan Omnivore. Dinonya sendiri ada banyak tipe, ada tipe Peltaceras (contohnya Triceratops), ada Ceratos (contohnya Megaloceras, rusa purba), ada Deinodino (contohnya raptor), ada Gigadeino (contohnya Therizinosaurus), ada Pteryxaurian (contohnya Pteranodon), ada Carnadonta (contohnya Tyrannosaurus), ada Aquasauran (contohnya Opthalmosaurus yang mirip lumba-lumba), ada Stegaspinax (contohnya Spinosaurus), ada Netrasauron (contohnya Lambeosaurus atau Oviraptor, pokoknya dino yang umum aja deh), ada Stegaverta (contohnya Stegosaurus), ada Echinopelta (contohnya Ankylosaurus), ada Velocidromaea (contohnya Ornithomimus), ada Gigaverta (contohnya Brachiosaurus), dan ada Palaeobiona (contohnya Smilodon alias singa gigi pedang, dan hewan purba lain yang tidak termasuk tipe-tipe di atas. Tapi bukan dari jaman dinosaurus lho). Kartunya disebut Collaptor Card. Fungsinya nambah kekuatan atau nyawa dino. Nyawa standar dino sendiri 1000, dan tiap serangan bernilai 10 poin. Serangan akan mengurangi poin lawan tanpa menambah poin kita. Paling enggak, poin lawan udah berkurang, kan. Dua kartu bisa dipakai bersamaan untuk effect yang di double. Istilahnya Combo Crush. Kalo dua kartu yang di-Combo bertipe sama (misal kartu Gigadeina sama kartu Gigadeina lainnya dipakai bareng) namanya Attached Combo. Kalau dapet Attached Combo, Combonya jadi dua kali lipat. Jadi efek Combonya dua kali terjadi dalam satu giliran. Kalo Combo Crushnya dari beda tipe (misal kartu Gigadeina diCombo sama kartu Deinodino) tetep bisa, namanya Fixed Card. Fixed Card in Combonya cuma sekali, alias Combo biasa. Jadi efek kedua kartu bisa digunakan pada giliran itu.
Tipe-tipe dino yang bejibun tadi sebenernya nggak terlalu penting kalo kita bicarain soal pion, karena pion-pion yang dipake sama pemain cuma dibatasi oleh FCnya. Jadi yang bisa dimainin cuma Carnivore, Herbivore, sama Omnivore. Nggak bisa make dua Carnivore sama Herbivore atau pemakaian sejenis. Jadi harus bervariasi pilihannya.

Haha, aturan PalPan ruwet, ya? Tunggu aja tanggal launchingnya (26 Februari 2009) dan coba aja mainin. Pasti seneng deh, apalagi yang seneng sama Yu-Gi-Oh! atau Bakugan Battle Brawlers!
